eat and live in community. savor life and the good in it.

kombucha brewing begins

brew black tea. add raw sugar cane. allow to cool to room temp.

add “the baby” (a starter culture) that eats all the sugar & ferments the tea.

now its sitting in my dark closet with a towel on top (7-10 days)

the baby mushroom on top will birth another baby that I can use or give away.

then i get to bottle the magical elixir and drink to my hearts content

bonus: now i have tons of wise quotes hanging from my cupboard.
